On Saturday, September 13, we opened the doors to our factory and welcomed everyone to our open house – here’s how it went.

Open House at Gislaved Folie – Celebrating 80 Years of Innovation

The year 2025 is a major milestone for us at Gislaved Folie – we’re celebrating 80 years! Eight decades of technological progress, creative development, and constant innovation. Of course, we wanted to mark this anniversary in a special way, and what better way than to open the doors to our business and share who we are?

Open House
On Saturday, September 13, we opened the doors to our factory and welcomed the public to an open house. Between 300 and 400 curious visitors came to learn more about our history, our production, and – not least – the future of Gislaved Folie. Throughout the day, guests had the opportunity to see our entire production chain – from idea to finished product. Our dedicated employees were stationed at each step of the process, sharing their expertise and offering deeper insight into how we work and what makes us unique.

It was fantastic to see the interest and curiosity from the visitors as they got a behind-the-scenes look into our facilities and operations.

During the guided tours, all guests were offered traditional Swedish fika, served by students from the Adapted School – something that was greatly appreciated by both visitors and all of us at Gislaved Folie. Their warmth and engagement added to the welcoming atmosphere throughout the day.
